I am a science communicator and consultant. You can read some of my work at Advanced Science News, La Razón and other media.

I did my PhD in quantum technologies at ICMAT – Institute of Mathematical Sciences (National Research Agency – CSIC), with the mathQI group.

I finished the Master of Science in Mathematics and Physics (a Bachelor with integrated Master’s degree) at the University of Bristol with an urge to understand the foundations of quantum mechanics better, both mathematically and conceptually. I knew I had questions, but I didn’t know what those questions were exactly. The Master of Studies in Philosophy of Physics at the University of Oxford filled that gap perfectly. At last I was able to put my questions into words.

Back in Madrid, I completed a PhD in the mathematical foundations of quantum mechanics, where I tried to partially answer some of those questions by studying the mathematical structure behind nonlocality and entanglement. While the core of my PhD was mathematical, I also did some research in philosophy which I presented at philosophy of science conferences.

Along this journey, I became convinced that we neeeded more solid links between science and society. I took every opportunity to tell all kinds of audiences about my research and other fascinating topics in science, and, after my PhD, I took up science communication full time.
